LIght over the door

Our TT has an outdoor light centered under the awning. Unfortunately, our door is on the extreme right of that awning. The weak 12v light isn't sufficient to see our keys and easily enter. Is there any easy (meaning no extensive work) way to add some light over the door? We don't want to light up the entire awning area...not our style, but just something over the door we can use to see to get in on a dark night.

    Buy an LED battery operated light that you can adhere to the trailer over or near the door. Batteries last a long time and the lights are not very expensive. No wiring required. Available with a motion sensor if needed.

    I'm contemplating one of these lights, just because I'm obsessive about providing adequate light. My current outdoor lamp LED bulb is compatible with this one, so I'm not concerned about battery draw. Any update on it now that it's been almost a year since this post?

    The problem is the light is mounted on a slideout which is right next to the door, as a result, all the light goes straight out to the patio area and the door is dark because of the slideout. So I can see where the OP wants something right over the door,

    I have the same trailer and know what you're talking about. I don't have a real problem with the key but more with seeing the stairs. A buddy of mine has a light in the hole where the stairs retract and it lights them up very well so maybe wiring a light in there or getting an LED battery operated light might do the trick.

    You can go to Amazon.com - IKEA - Harbor Fright etc.. and look for a battery operated LED night light that has a on-off switch, motion detector& night only operation.
