Jayco model "SLX" , below info is from the Jayco Owners Forum.

JayFlight (is the upgraded model) vs SLX

So far the differences I have noted on the SLX are listed below. โ€ขHalf the water capacity .
Jayflight 'Elite' package offers 90 gals.(2 tanks , with one fill , one overflows into the other)
โ€ข20 lb propane tanks with no covers
โ€ขCurtains instead of the doors to the front sleeping area
โ€ขNo medicine cabinet
โ€ขMissing shelves in side of cabinets
โ€ขNo cabinet doors over the front bed
โ€ขNo raised panel doors on the cabinets
โ€ขNo ladder on the back
โ€ขNo window side curtains
โ€ขNo control panel box to hide all the switches
โ€ขTv does not swing around to the front bed
โ€ขNo tank Flusher
โ€ขSteel Rims
โ€ขCheaper mattress
โ€ขNo wall thermostat for the AC
โ€ขDifferent Axles

slx may also use diff. size tires and 6 cu ft fridge instead of 8cf.

Elite Package
Black Tank Flush, Digital Touch Screen Remote, 90 Gallon Capacity Fresh Water Tanks (2), Hardwood Drawer Fronts Throughout, Kitchen Sink Covers, Large Entry Door Grab Handle, Porcelain Toilet, Raised Panel Cabinets in Kitchen and Living Room, Refrigerator Insert (N/A in 38BHDS & 38FDDS), Roof Ladder, Skylight w/ Shade in Kitchen, Upgrade Faucet w/ Pull-Out Sprayer, Mor/Ryde CRE 3000 Suspension

JayFlights also offer an Arctic pack with extra foil type insulation, not sure about the SLX model offering that.

....snip.....It sounds crazy, but most people do NOT camp at sites without electric and everything in the TT can be run on a 2000-3000W generator.

I guess that is not surprising. I was shopping last week and discovered that some of the lower end Coachmen models had only electric refrigerators, no propane option. I wonder how many beginners get taken in by this ploy?

Most of the "eggshell" TT are fairly light.

The Lil' Snoozy is kind of "radical" in that there is no propane (double burner electric hot plate, electric space heater) and it can be order without a black water tank (removable toilet cassette). I sounds crazy, but most people do NOT camp at sites without electric and everything in the TT can be run on a 2000-3000W generator.

Not sure what the X's mean, but the SLX series of Jaycos are light in weight and cost with quality equal to or better than the half dozen other brands that I have owned in the past 14 years. Most of the appliances are common throughout the industry. Just purchased my second Jayco.

The trailer in my signature is comfortable for 4 large people for at least 10 days, we'll be doing 3 weeks straight in it this summer and I'm not worried about space. It weighs ~3k lbs dry with a gvwr of 3,600.
