Thinking of upgrading from our hybrid. Looking for a trailer with a front murphy bed, 2 double bunks, a u-dinette. We want the amenities of a 30-32ft rv, but at a 26-28 length. I see jayco has a murphy bed in some white hawks, but not quite what we are looking for. Do any of you know what other brands offer murphy beds?
Jayflight's 23MB has that but also has no slide-out. Seems to me that you want the wider bunks???
Everyone's camping needs are different...I've been looking long and hard at the same set up to buy...I'll be curious to see layouts that have double wider bunks and not sacrifice other things with the additional space needed to accomodate the wider bunks...
You looked at the Whitehawk...Now compare it to the Jayflight...Specifically the 23MBH...There's a few major differences that keep me from considering the Whitehawk's...
WH's have 30 Gal Black & Gray Tanks and 20# Propane Tanks...Deal killer for me...JF's have 39 Gal Tanks and 30# Propane Tanks...
JF's come in Aluminum skin or the Optional Fiberglass...Put the Elite Package on it and you get 80 Gal Fresh Tanks...Tank size is major for ME...Jayflight's pack ALOT into a 27 foot package...Here's the Elite Package...And the Thermal Package adds the enclosed heated underbelly...Another major for me...
ELITE PACKAGE:
***Black Tank Flush, Foot Flush Porcelain Toilet, 80 Gallon Capacity Fresh Water Tanks***, Hardwood Drawer Fronts Throughout, Large Entry ***Door Grab Handle, LED Light on Power Awning***, Raised Panel Upper Cabinets (kitchen and livingroom), ***Rear Ladder***, Refrigerator Insert, Skylight in Kitchen, Upgrade Faucet w/Pull-out Sprayer, Mor/Ryde CRE 3000 Suspension and Sink Covers
Important things in that package you should be looking for when comparing...Black Tank Flush--Porcelain Toilet--80 Gal Fresh Tank--Big Door Handles are great safety items--LED on Awning is cool--Better cabinets--Sink covers provide extra counter top space and that Rear Ladder is great...
The old saying is if there's no rear ladder, they don't want you walking on that roof...
That's a great package IF you can get past the fact that the bunks are a bit narrower...
Happy Camping!!!
