Looking at the Grand Design construction, they have R40 in the roof (excellent), R30 in the floor (excellent ), but R7 walls (mediocre ), and no mention of dual-pane windows. Why only R7 walls? Are the walls only 1.5"?
The use of foil/plastic bubble sheeting increases R-value about R-1.5 in the way trailer builders use it. It also helps to keep convective heat transfer down.
