Looking for Awning Part

There are 2 styles of clips. Make sure you get the right one. There's the one in the link above and then there's one that has a rounded bottom like this

It's called a travel lock and I would think it would be an industry standard.

There are times when being part of a forum makes things so much easier. I had the same problem (broken clip) and thanks for your post......I will buy one too.

There are a few different manufacturers of RV awnings; ZipDee, Carefree, and A&E to name the most common.

They will also help you over the phone, if you prefer.

It would help us on the forum if you could provide a picture of the part and or the make and model of the awning. I have broken and replaced parts on my awning, but not a black one like you described.
