Looking for front mounted VersaHaul pictures

If you can, please post pictures of front-mounted VersaHaul carriers with a bike loaded.

I would like to carry a Rokon Trail-Breaker and I'm curious to see what a front mounted package would look like on a 1 ton pick-up.

Also, please share any comments about your VersaHaul experiences.

Thanks.

  • The wheel stop on the versahauler has two positions which helps to center the bike.

  • I have a Versa Hauler that I ran on the front of my Silverado 3500. I added Piaa running lights and had no problems. I don't know how to post photos here but if you want to PM me, I'll email photos to you. I now have the hauler set up on the rear of a new rig and again have had no problems. I like the sturdy construction of the Versa.
  • I have driven at night, but try not to as some of the light is blocked. The fog lights help a lot. 300lb bike and not that hard to get off and on. I notice the bike more when the camper is not on the truck.
We did a 4000 mile trip with the bike on the front last summer. Just have to clean the bugs off each day. With the bike on the front, we are 25'. Parallel parking is tough and entering / leaving steep driveways may not be possible. Backing into some camping spots can be a challenge if the road is narrow.
  • Thanks. I was curious about headlight interference and now i have a better idea.

Actually, I'm thinking of using an electric trailer tongue jack with a purpose built lift fork on the bottom. The jack would then attach to a front mounted hitch. The idea is not having to drive or muscle 200 lbs up a ramp.

    We'll see.
