Any hard side camper is going to overload the truck by 20% or more on a SRW megacab. All that weight for the cab doesn't leave much for payload.
Course I don't know what the payload is for that truck....but my hardside is 1750 dry and I think there are lighter ones. Surely a 3500 is going to have something near 3000 for payload? Mine is almost 4000. But it is just a crew cab not mega cab.
You might want to think again. My 3500 is a quad cab and has 2700 lbs in payload. The same truck in a mega would have even less than that and if you're realistic about your 1750, my quad could barely carry your camper.
If your truck doesn't have at least 1,000 lbs of payload left after your dry camper is installed on the truck, you are overloaded. You might not know it, but weigh your rig. You'll see.
