I made this flag pole from an adjustable tent pole, a doorway flag, and some PVC pipe.
I attached the flag pole to the trailer jack with lightweight cord. To get the knot real tight I used a clove hitch around the pole and jack pulling it real tight. Then I locked in the knot with a single overhand knot on top of the clove hitch to make a square knot.
The coupler is made from PVC pipe. The lower section has an inside diameter sized to fit the adjustable tent pole. The upper section is sized to fit the doorway flag. Because the tent pole is larger it stops at the transition to the smaller diameter upper section. The light is a solar flag pole light I got from Harbor Freight.
