Miss my Jayco

We traded in our 2007 Jayco 27BH for a 2012 Prime Time Tracer 2670 BHS. We liked the extra room inside with the big slide and it was still towable with our half ton. We have now come to the conclusion that ultra lightweight comes at a sacrifice of build quality. The Tracer has a definite cheaper feel than our old Jayco. We are now looking at going back to a Jayco to get the higher quality construction back. Looking at a Jay Flight 28BHS. Anyone care to share any experiences with this particular floor plan? Pros/Cons?? Thanks.

Think you will find those who like/hate/ok with Jayco like any other brand. I have a 2010 Jayco 5er and I believe it has had more problems than it should have. Rear wall had to be replaced after about a year due to leaks etc.

We have a Jayco 28BHS and have used it for the last 2 years. The only issue I have had was the slide wasn't centered as well as I wanted in the trailer opening however our dealer didn't even hesitate to make that right (I am extremely picky). I love the fact you can sit on the couch and look out through the big dinette window into your campsite. I do think the bathroom feels a little bit tight though but other than that I really like the floorplan. For a reference we camp in ours 30+ nights per year.

We had a 2006 Jayco Eagle 322FKS. Had delamination- wife hated the construction (cheap)I didn't like the idea that Jayco used wood trusses in the roof. (still do).

I owned a 97 Jayco 5th wheel that I bought new. It was very well built and I had few issues.
