Motorcyle rack behind trailer?

I have a 1998 Rockwood Ultralight 24 footer.

I own a motorcycle that weights 400 lbs. I have seen local stores that sell racks that go into a 2 inch receiver that are for hauling a motorcycle.

Anyone ever do this? Would it be safe to do?

I have seen the video before. That is precisely what I am trying to avoid. The trailer tows well now, and I would like to keep it that way.

If you do put it on the back of your camper , have a friend follow you with a dash cam , it would make a cool video .

I have seen this guy make lifts for motorcycles on the back of Motorhomes, not sure about TT's though. Smitty has been doing this for 30+ years, give him a call if you want the advice of an expert. He is going to add a 2" receiver to my TT, as soon as I can pony up $800 for it.

A long time ago when I was young and foolish, I tried this with a 250 lb dirt bike on the rear bumper of a 23' 1973 Terry. Pulled OK (well, kinda) when the forward mounted fresh water tank was full, but on the way home, with no water, the lack of tongue weight put the rig into a near-fatal sway event in freeway traffic. After changing my undies and reloading everything possible into the front of the TT, I made it home without further drama.

Not sure how well a 1/2 ton frame can handle the bike, maybe others could chime in. As for a superduty frame, id say no prob. I have carried my 280lb bike on the front for many many rough miles.

Couple pics of what it looks like on the front, and my view out the windshield. Headlights are slightly blocked drivers side but doesnt affect things very much. My friends in the trucks behind me also do the same thing, even on that dodge dakota!

I might be able to get it in the front door and park it where my table is. I would need to find a good way to secure it.

This might sound crazy... but can you fit the bike inside the trailer via the regular entry door? You might be able to turn the handle bars in such a way that it will pass though. Maybe go as far as taking off the front wheel and using a stand like a wheel choke?

That's a reasonably good idea. My truck is a 2013 F150. Would the truck be enough to do it? Do they make bolt on front receivers?

I would think a 3/4 or 1 ton with the snow plow package option(heavy duty front end suspension components) might carry that weight.
