Just use this tool. Upload your picture, copy the resulting URL directly into your post and the picture will be correctly sized for our forum recommended limits of 640px maximum width.
I agree that our forum software is very outdated. We kind of gave up hope long ago of any improvements despite many requests for same. :R
You can edit your photos to comply. Just click on "edit" go to the url for each photo and before the last {/img}on each one put a space and "width=640" (without the quotes) and your pictures will be the proper size. No need to put a "height" statement in as the software will do it by itself.
