I like that idea of a folding porch, not see that before. It gets it out of the way while traveling. Looks like it blocks half the stop light/turn signal however, might be a liability in that sense.
If you do any camping on the beach a porch is a much needed option, being able to get the sand off before entering the camper helps a lot with cleanup. Also on some designs its a great place to store your grill and wood. If you are older you can add a handrail to the steps and don't allow drunk ppl on your rig. I have seen some add LED lights around the porch so you can see it better at night.
