My Folding Porch

This, I like the side step idea if you're towing a trailer or boat.
Also I used a super truss under the 1150 to add a basket for the generator and the side step would give easier accessibility.

If anything a porch is SAFER because it allows you a wide stable place to step out and get your bearings before negotiating the scissor steps to the ground. For anyone of any age.

Plus you may not want to stand on the ground, such as in the case of wet muddy conditions. Sit on the porch under the awning and enjoy the rain, high and dry.

I always wanted a porch. Not so much to sit on but to have a spot to turn around and to stop on before going down the stairs. To remove wet/dirty footwear. Leave things so they were out of the dirt like packs, and to barbecue so I was not always going up and down the stairs.

A number of years ago someone had one with rails and a mount for their barbecue that was AMAZING but cannot find the link. I wanted to build one so bad but it never happened.

Only issue is that if they stay down when traveling (for smaller ones) you need lights on them and if they fold up cannot block the license plate or any lights.

Use the "Photobucket Hotlink Fix" Chrome extension.

Good idea about using a folding ramp. There are many different sizes and makes that might also work.

Do "open image in new tab"
But I am afraid Photobucket allows only some number of views before they blur everything.

Ron and I would get along.
My friends are all older people who drink and dance in the dark.
That's why I could never use one of these contraptions.
I put the axe away when people start drinking.
I try to plan ahead because when people get hurt a long way from help it is not funny.

That's caused by Photobucket. You need to pay to see the images clearly.
