after loading everything up, got it weighed
Front 5450
Rear 6650
Total 12,100

I know I am under, but it is so close. is it really ok

You're good! Enjoy. Can't do much better then you already have for a tow rig even if you wanted to.

Just for comparison purposes, I hauled a 37' 14,500 GVWR 5th wheel with a Chevy 2500 diesel. The Chevy hauled it really well. Your Ram will haul your lighter trailer with ease.

just spent 2 weeks Bullard's beach, am in Klamath now, and have to go back to California for more chemo, then back to coast
thanks all.
I do not know what everyone carries in back of truck, but seems we should all be close if hauling a 5er. and mine is only 30'. cardinal GVWR is 12,300
of course it is a 2001. probably heavier back then
