nautilus retractable shower door question

We picked up our new trailer and took it camping for the first time this weekend. It has a nautilus retractable shower door, which seemed fine until I had a shower and discovered water all over the bathroom floor. It looks like the water runs down the shower door and when it drips off it just flows right under the bottom rail onto the bathroom floor. There is no caulking between the plastic shower base and the bottom rail or anywhere else around the door. Is this normal or should there be caulking and the manufacturer just screwed up and missed something when they installed the door? Thanks!

Thanks, I assumed they just did a poor job installing it but was curious if other people had a similar issue or not. I'll get some caulk before the next trip.

I had a similar problem. Ran a bead of caulk between rail and top of tub. Solved the problem.

Friends of ours have one in their Class C and love it. Sounds like a defective one or bad installation.
