New 205/75 R14 Goodyear Endurance Tires For Alaska Trip

Just got rid of the junk C rated tires on my 25 foot TT and upgraded to the new US made Goodyear Endurance D rated tires for my 3 month Alaska trip starting in 2 weeks. The speed rating is 87mph instead of my old tires 65mph. The load rating is higher and the tires are beefier weighing 3 ponds more per tire. I feel much more comfortable now. I hope they hold up well and I will report back after the trip. Hope Goodyear got it right this time after the Goodyear Marathon Chinese bombs fiasco.
  • Wish I were traveling with you, Alaska is a beautiful state. I was there in '95.
  • Not odd. Most of the ones I'm seeing, even up to 28' have 14" tires.

  • I ditched the no-name tires of the same size on my boat trailer, and just finished a 1000 mile round trip with the Endurance.

I had terrible luck with Marathon's, and hope the Endurance is better. They did very well on my last trip. Honestly, I can't believe how much better the trailer pulled. I hope that they continue to live up to my expectations.
