New F150
Could not stand looking at the new trucks so decided to bite the bullet and get a new one for myself! It was tough to give up the old 97 F150... It was a really good truck and never let me down. ...

Played with the "tow/haul" setting going down a good size hill in our neighborhood (not towing anything of course..) and loved how it automatically downshifted so I didn't have to manually downshift or ride the brakes going down the hill.
With the old 97 and 4 speed trans, I'd lock out O/D, but would still have to pretty much ride the brakes down the hill, or shift into 2nd, but that would rev too high and not go fast enough...
The new 6 speed downshifted to 3rd and I didn't have to touch the brakes at all and it maintained 40 mph and was pulling around 3500 rpms. At the bottom of the hill, I gave it some gas and it upshifted and continued on it's way... :)
I'm gonna like this thing with the #5000 brick behind I'm very sure! :) :)
