New guy looking at f150 5.4 and 5.0
I haven't bought a trailer yet but looking in the 6500-7500 GVW . As far as a tow vehicle I was looking at either a 2010 f150 5.4 w/ 3.73 rear and max trailer package. Or a 2011 and up f150 with 5.0 ...

Is there a difference between the max trailer tow package and trailer tow package?
From what i have read i don't think you can get the Max Tow pkg with the 5.0? Only the Ecoboost or 6.2L.. I can say from personal experience the Ecoboost is fantastic towing machine!!
