new released invertor generater
Westinghouse has a new stronger invertor generater. WH2400i. Will this power my new 2016 amerilite 198bh air conditioner? It is a 8000 btu fridgedair ac.

Nearly thirty replies from people that have never seen the generator in person, so I might as well add mine.
This forum is funny..The question he asked was will this generator run his 8000 btu air conditioner..Nothing else....Yes,it will/should at a draw of only 6.2 amps for the air conditioner.My Honda 2k runs my 5k air at an idle.
My previous reply was on noise and how each of us interpret it.I thought the link provided made the Honda 2k sound noisy compared to the Westinghouse but having run chainsaws all my life for a living,my hearing isn't what it used to be on certain sounds.
I don't scrimp on gen sets being miles and miles from any town while camping or working,I want one well known for reliability under all conditions and why I have two Honda's.
