New TV mounted in the our Lance 1010

Well I finally did it! Getting ready for our week + trip to Virginia and Gettysburg.
Staying in Luray at the KOA and Gettysburg Campground.
Set the TV up so most wiring is hidden and DVD player tucked neatly away in a cabinet. The nice thing about mounting the TV is we gain a huge cabinet!!!

  • There is no need to use a trap to secure your TV if you buy the correct mount. If I recall the one that I installed a few months back is a MorRyde. They lock in place with a very nice push/pull locking pin.
  • Thanks for the pic Buffettphan. I have the Lance 1010 (2000 model) and your last picture gave me the idea on mounting it on the side rather than on the designated cabinet door. I actually have the same mount, $7.00 and a garage sale. My wife and I are looking for a TV/DVD combo.
  • mine straps to the wall with a screw above and below the wall mount holding the strap in place with a plastic buckle for the closure

  • I put a strap on mine to hold when on the road. I wouldnt try with out. I have forgot to strap mine and it did swing out it was only to go get gas so no damage.
  • Im thinking of a strap but have not reached that point yet. I think I will try it first and see how it travels

What keeps the TV from moving around when you are on the road? I have been looking for a wall mount that locks when you are on the road but I have had no luck have you found it?

  • The movie is my all time favorite, Last of the Dog Men with Tom Berrenger and Barbara Hershey. I have seen it at least 100 times and it never gets old.

Having a TV mounted is so functional now. Safe and easy to use.
