have new chevy 3500 coming is the factory brake controller compatible with the hydraulic disc brakes on my 2007 mobile suite 5ver?

I had a 2020 and a gooseneck with electric over hydraulic. It would not work. I could not install a P3 because of the factory controller. I had to buy an adapter for the trailer to make it work. I forgot what brand of brakes on the trailer. The adapter was around $100 on etrailer.
