Ive seen some Dmax powered boats, but not sure there's any mass production of the Dirty max for marine use.
They make killer wakeboard boat motors in the bigger boats.
Bottom line, stock for stock, the Dmax and Pstroke will beat a Ram Cummins in a drag race like is red headed step child, but it takes longer to get the big iron movin.
My 07 in my sig couldn't see the tail lights of my LB7, similar tunes, in a 1/4 mile, but the big C don't take kindly to being speed shifted. Auto trans would make it a better race but still no competition.
That's why you see more V8 trucks at the drag races and more cummins at the truck pulls.....different engines.
Not a fan of the complexity of any of the new engines but they're all pretty darn reliable and powerful.....but I can still do injectors on a new Cummins with a set of hand tools and a cheapo tq wrench......and have it back on the road that afternoon.
