I don't have any experience with Ford's warranty or service dept so I can't honestly comment on it. :B
If that's the case and you want to learn about Ford's warranty policy, service dept or learn how they treat their loyal customers please get in touch with a RV.net member named Ricatic. He has extensive dealings with them and can fill you in. :B
Nah. I'm quite happy that in 80k miles, I haven't had the need to visit the service dept for anything. Even my three month old Toyota (hear the angles sing!) Prius has already been back for a recall flash for software on it's VF drive. I asked them to change one simple parameter to make the interior reverse beep once instead of continuous while they had the laptop plugged into it. They didn't do it. Many others have had it done at more competent dealerships. Turtle n Peeps wrote:

My wife's '11 Ford Edge had 2 warranty claims to date (3.5 years/64k miles to date) and both visits was a complete satisfied experience.
No hassles, no red tape, no hoopla, no drama and the sky wasn't falling either. Just professional and courteous experience. :B
An internet acquaintance of mine and fellow RV.net member got tuned down on a 12 thousand dollar CP4 pump job on their Ford SD. Several other internet acquaintances of mine had the same thing happen.
Oh, what's your point Troy? :B
Ford doesn't reject as many CP4 pumps like you and others would like for us to think.
Since you like to change the topic on many threads, how is your acquaintances like loosing their jobs with Toyota corporate or are they packing their bags and moving to Texas? :B

You should probably go take a pill and relax after saying something good about a Ford. I know it had to be a first for you.
No I'v said a lot of "good things" about Ford. However I don't have a problem slinging mug when mud is being slung at my bread and butter.
All the Manufacturers have their problems from time to time and I have owned all three. If I didn't work for Chrysler I still would not buy another Ford. Do to the poor quality of their dealer service network in NW Ohio & SE Mich. I had been to EVERYONE at one time or another trying to get issues resolved to no avail.
So I moved on and started buying Chrysler vehicles long before I worked for them and never once had the problems I did with my Fords.
That's not a slam, it's just my experience with Ford and their dealers! I'm 100% sure others have had the same experiences with Chrysler, GM, Toyota and others. When someone posts something bad about your favorite vehicle, it doesn't make them evil. They may have a valid reason for not liking it.
Don - AlBeGoneExplorerI would gladly take one or the other home!
Thank you very much.
