Norcold refrigerator

Our Norcold N41X or N51X bottom of the fridge is warped. It sits up about 3/4-1 inch higher in the front right corner. the furnace is installed underneath the fridge so I checked to make sure there is no heat from that and there is not. Not sure what else could have caused this. Can the inside of the fridge be replaced or am I looking at complete replacement?

Thanks
  • It was an early 2012 we actually bought it in july of 2011. So warranty is gone. We have our big annual summer trip coming up in less than four weeks. just hoping it is ok to use during the trip. I am sure that our dealer could not get fixed in time.
  • Water/moisture has gotten under panel and caused insulation to swell

Fridge would have to be removed, turned on side and insulation scraped out and replaced (can of spray expanding foam)

Unless panel has warped from HOT food/container placed in fridge.
  • Try heating it with a hot air gun or torch and massage it back into shape.
  • I do believe you would be looking at a complete replacement. When I had a crack on the inside of the case where the bottom door hinge is attached, it required a total replacement.

I wouldn't do anything unless it is interfering with the performance of the fridge.
