Obviously if the supplied bed is a short queen you'd have to modify or remove the wall between the end of the bed platform and the remainder of the trailer. Since a king is much wider than a queen you'd also have to modify / remove the cabinets on each side of the bed. Certainly it could be done but it's a lot of work that will limit access to the bed on each side. As one who has extended the length of my short queen to a full 80" queen length there's no way I'd consider modifying it any further to accommodate a king size mattress.
