Here I go again. Overthinking things. Planning on a 10.2 EXCD. In my previous RV i had a small tub I kept extra sewer fittings and spares. Between all the brushes, hoses and other typical external storage items, I am struggling to see where I will store the less than sanitary items. We are planning a onan generator so that big space won't be available.

My sewer hose did not fit in the rear bumper of the camper. The end fittings were too large. I mounted a plastic fence post to my truck’s rear bumper and all is well. I have removable caps on both ends. The hose with fittings on it along with a see thru elbow all store inside the tube.Vinyl fence postVinyl capLeRoy

I solved the issue you’re describing on my 10.2 by putting a rack that plugs into my trailer hitch under the camper. I put my sewer hose, gas cans, leveling blocks, etc down there. Works great.

My hose with connector fit in the Square compartment that came on my 2018 NL 8-11. There is also a approx 16” x 72” plastic tray in the basement as well as a 10”x 36” long open storage area beside the plastic tray for storage.Soup.

Yeah but who wants the sewer hose inside the camper, even in the basement.

I keep my slinky in a small bucket in gen. compartment w/ my honda 2k. Bumper carries clothesline poles,flag poles,etc...

I keep the sewer hose in the bumper like most everyone else does.

All new NL's come with a 2-prong connector that fits in the bumper.

Yup just like mine, which is not inside the camper. I added the storage locations in the basement for reference. The connector that comes with the NL campers fits inside the square tube which is designed for the sewer hose.

Thank all. I have decided to pass on the NL and go for something with more grey/black space, real dry bath and external storage.

More than a 40 gallon gray tank??? That’s huge for a truck camper...
No leak-prone body seams along every edge or delamination issues are exceptionally good qualities.

I know they are worth every penny. Just a few boxes I know it won't tick for us. Specifically the 18gal black tank. Camping on the dunes for a week, this won't be enough. We really wanted a dry bath as well. Also more external storage.
