Ok it's Done!!!

I have been lurking around this site gathering information for what seems like forever and I finally took the plunge this week and purchased my first Travel Trailer a Tracer 240AIR by Primetime MFG. I am taking delivery this Friday and will post pictures soon. As of today I hope that I can contibute as much valuable information to this forum as I have recieved from others as I go about the learning process of RV'ing with my wife, kids and dogs.
  • CONGRATULATIONS! Welcome to the fun world of RVing. Please keep us posted on how your new rig works out. Especially the quality of the Tracer.

  • Congrats! We looked at the Tracer but it didn't quite fit our style.
    Now let the mods begin.
And - what are you towing it with?
  • Congrats - a very nice layout, similar to our previous TT that we enjoyed for 8 years.

Add my congrats as well. I think you have the perfect size of trailer. When you start going for those hugh 5000 foot floorplan houses on wheels surely must take all of the fun out of what camping should be.

I pulled a 30-foot trailer for a short time and I was a whipped puppy at the end of the day. And then all of the maintenance and other associated cost factors ate my lunch...

My hat is off to those that have learned how to cope with the big ole trailers... Didn't work out for me.

  • Congrats.. rving has been a great thing for our family. Have a good time with it.
  • Welcome to the infected multitude.

    You'll be forever infected with:
itchy feet that want to move,
scratchy eyes that want to see new things,
babbling with complete strangers about rigs, where your coming from and going to,
your brain will become addled with road numbers, MPG, ETA and still be awed be the sights around the next corner.

    Oh and don't forget,
    Your going to Hawaii,
just as soon as they get the bridge finished.
  • First weekend trip in the books my son and daughter play travel baseball and softball so we were out of town for the weekend for tournaments and decided to camp. It was great no hotels and everyone could relax after all day game and the list of mods has started this is gonna be so much fun..Ready for my next trip maybe end of month for a weekend again.
