Oliver Travel Trailer

Has anyone seen the revived Oliver Travel Trailer? I was looking at their Facebook and they are busy manufacturing trailers again in TN. I read they were going to have two units at Quartzite for viewing. The MSRP is $39,500 if I remember correctly. I like it better than the single hulled units like Casita and Scamp. I do like the Eggcamper and it is double-hulled but only a 17' unit. From what I understand, right now, Oliver is producing the 22' something and will go back to producing the 17' in the future. I like it!
  • I didn't link in the website because there are changes that the page doesn't reflect and I was told they will be updating it. The one important change for us is the interior height since the page says 6'1" so I wrote and asked if there was any chance that could be wrong and they wrote promptly to let me know it was 6'4" on the Legacy II (I believe if the name of it) and to give me additional details about their units.
  • Oliver just got everything updated on the website and have done a great job! I guess at the moment there is an issue with the forum, which is linked in, but the PDF brochures are beautiful and lots of information on all the facets of the trailer. They just look so nice! We would really like to have something superior this time since it will probably be the last RV that we purchase. It looks like maintenance would not be as intense with the molded shell versus all of the seams in other RVs.
  • The Oliver Website has been updated. They also have a Facebook page.

Incidentally, if you are in the Quartzite, AZ area, there are 2 2014 22' Olivers & an older 17' on display at the Desert Gardens area on Kuehn Street at Q Mountain Road, near the footbridge over I-10. They will be there at least through the 9th of February.

  • High on my list for "if I dump the real estate and go full-timing as a single and don't want to do it in a motorhome." But I would make a factory visit before ordering. As I would for the purchase of any new RV. Nothing quite like seeing just how the thing is made.
