Put the awning out, and it is the same as sitting "out under the awning", except cleaner and no steps.
Some of the comments with that video talk about getting stabilizers under that patio to reduce rocking of the trailer, think about how much weight leverage is there.
Definitely something I would consider if I was in a buying mood.
