Hi, looking for original tire size, I know it is a 15". Currently running p195-75r-14 but there are too fat to get between the Axel & body without letting the air out or jacking up frame very high (not safe), thanks for any help.

Is this one of those trailers where the tire cannot be removed and changed because the trailer body is partially hanging over the tire?

Most anyone who is familiar with a 1960 camper is either very old or senile by now, lol.
Best bet is start measuring and looking  at rims. Find narrow rims with the best case scenario offset and then find the skinniest tires for it.
if you really think it needs to be 15s good luck finding much skinnier than the 195s you’re already running.
also may chalk it up to just a not well thought out design by an early mfg of camper trailers.
