Any Alaskan spring ice fishing?
Love using my TC after an evening of ice fishing, crashing the night, and then waking up in the lake parking lot ready for prime time morning fishing.
Nope, never went this spring, although I bet some of the smaller lakes we still could. Hit some lakes early in the season and knocked them dead, late season here the lakes pretty well die (at least the small ones we go to) so no point in going till the ice goes out. - wasilla_rodExplorer

That doesn't even remotely look like fun to me. That's the great thing about this pastime I guess
Not our idea of a good time, either. Normally this area is all cleared and gravel by now, but we have had such a cold April/late snow and late spring that it is way behind. It is on our way home from a gun show we go to almost every year in Fairbanks so we stop here on the way home to scrounge and metal detect. Even though it is a metal detector's nightmare. - wasilla_rodExplorer

Holy Moly!!! Nope! Not gonna do it! That looks impossible! Did you use your rig as a sled coming down that slope?! You are a better man than I! I live where it snows, but nothing like that!
Happy camping! :)

Actually it was flat as flat can be. Just drifted in. Nothing a little 4wd can't waddle through. - Led_67Explorer

Always good to get out and about! Thanks for sharing.
My son uses his TC much like you, he's up by Fairbanks. Did some runs to Summit Lake for some sledding & for the Arctic Man. Earlier. Working on his Dodge now for coming events. He has the hubs and brakes finished, now waiting for the springs to arrive.
He'd spend some time "down in the tropics" earlier this winter getting some work done on his eyes. Anchorage & Wasilla were the "tropics". A week or 10 days.
Liked the spin art.
This is coming out of Arctic Man site (Isabel pass pipeline camp/Summit Lake) Since the event had been over a while the road drifted in. Wasn't too bad, but got snowed on overnight and took the fun out of the morning's planned activities so we went home (Wasilla). Had been up to Fbanks for the gun show.
