Pitch on slide outs?

I've had three different rv's and they were all built with a slight slope on the slideout roof to the outside, not towards the trailer.

is the floor of the slide actually pitched, or just the outside wall? On our MH, and a few others I have seen, the inside edge of the floor rises a bit when the slide comes in. The outside wall has to be pitched a bit to seal when the slide is fully retracted. When extending the slide, you can watch the lower edge pitch out as the floor of the slide settles in place.
