Just a little over a week ago finished 2,500+ miles through the Great Basin and much of SW US. Maiden Voyage...Checked each Tank load actual measurement fuel and miles traveled against the 2012 F350 4x4 6.7 L Diesel fancy Average Miles per Gallon Digital Gauge with our Eagle Cap 950 pretty well loaded down. Mileage on the Digital Gauge seemed to average about 1 MPG better than the Actual Computed mileage 14.5 to 15.5 MPG actual, mostly dropped to 14.5 average when we were bucking quite a head wind. it was not uncommon to see 18 to 20 on the Averaging meter at times...
We mostly ran 11.5 to 12.5 mpg with the 2000 F250 4x4 V-10 we just sold to some great folks as there new to them camper hauler.
