Power awning arm replacement

Has anyone replaced the power awning arms on a Carefree Travel'r awning? Need to know any tips.

Carefully read any instructions that may come with these parts but in the meantime download any installation instructions for your particular unit, which no doubt will be readily available with a simple Google and YouTube search. 😉

As with a furnace, water heater, fridge, etc, it's important to know not only the model name of the product but also the version that may be identified with a model #, product #, serial #, etc. I've made it a habit to record this information whenever I've purchased a trailer so it's readily available later. Very often this will prove to be pertinent information the retailer will need in order to source the correct part you need.
