prowler water leak (roof)

I have a new prowler with one slide. it has been rained on several times since ive owned it. last big rain with the slide out, I had water on the seat by the table which is under the slide seam. any insight? it leaked enough to make the carpet wet and somewhat soak a little of the wood in that area. ive called the dealer but thought I could find a little insight here. thanks
  • I would take a look at the seal and also make sure trailer is level so water intrusion is not invited.

I leave slides out year around on our trailer and never had water invade trailer.

Treating the the seals and slide top with 303 protectant helps propel water, something I've always done.
  • do you have a slide topper?

Check your seals, there should be a wiper seal along where it slides out.. Basically a piece of rubber... On the slide itself is the bulb seal which looks like a bulb. But that wont do anything with the slide out. Probably the wiper seal...

Was the trailer level or maybe leaning the wrong way so water would drain into the slide instead of away?
  • Twice a year maintenance includes roof inspection, taping and Henry’s (for me) and slide seal inspection and conditioning. Sometimes replacement. Did you do those? I don’t trust most dealers. Do this yourself.
