I prefer pull throughs since I'd rather pull my trailer than back it up. I will do either of course.
But rarely do I go to a camp site just to enjoy my surrounds and enjoy nature and sit around a campfire.
Most of the time we are either following our football team, visiting national parks to view wildlife or the scenery, or visiting relatives. In all those cases, the campsite doesn't mean a lot to us. What means something is how close the campground is to the activity we're pursuing.
