Question for Ford mechanics 2006 F-250 3v 5.4?
I have a 06 Ford F-250 with a bad 5.4 in it that I got for next to nothing. Do you have to take the cab off to change out the motor? Does the 06 F-250 have the torque shift transmission?

In response to OEM oil pumps there are a few people who think that the pump design contributes to the issues. It has an aluminum (iirc) back plate that can flex under load causing oil leaks.
