We had rain pour down the side and up into the Furnace Cover Exhaust Grate.
We bought one of these...
Drip Cap
Took the whole Furnace Cover off. Spray painted the Drip Cap Black. Mounted it with a couple screws and a bead of caulk. Put the cover back on.
Problem solved...the rain runs down the side and not back up into the vent holes.
