I think it would behoove us all to always pay attention to the sounds your vehicle makes and never ignore new ones.
Very true, mine was making a little chirp on cold start up, but went away in a few minutes, and a few months latter the bearing failed.
My 6.7 makes so much clatter, especially when cold, that the noise would have to be pretty significant for me to notice it. - garyp4951Explorer III

So c rap, I replaced my original pump pre emptively with a new Cummins pump last year (140k on it). Thought it better than buying the $60 aftermarket pump. Hope it lasts. I'm sure it was built in the same timeframe as all these problem ones.

B.O. - DadoffourgirlsExplorerAt least we know how many Ram HD Diesel trucks were delivered in the US for 2013-2017.

Its not fun to break down towing in 95 degree heat when you loose your WP, belt, and crank sensor.
