- PooterExplorerSeems everything is having issues. My new 2015 f250 has a transmission flare between 5-6. They had a bunch flare , hard downshift issues on of them on the tranny in 2011. Visit the F150 forums, they are having aluminum body panel alighnment issues , warping dashes, non cooling seats on the new F150.

Hi Don. Don't let these guys get under your skin. Troy called me a member of the Ram Mafia in another thread but it was a clear sign of defeat! There are plenty of satisfied Ram owners out there (me included) who are open minded enough and have the common sense to know they all have recalls and issues. I don't mind as long as they get looked after which I know they will. FCA actually offered me a generous gift certificate for merchandise for my inconvenience which I thought was really good.
You don't like being a Ram Mafia member? :W
BTW... This Ram Mafia description came from a current Ram owner who nailed it! :WPerrysburg Dodgeboy wrote:

Don,
This post was on the Ram recall topic. Three of the Ram recall's all came in at one week. :E
In the meantime my '12 Ford with 76k miles continues to run like a top and makes great fuel economy while doing it. :B It did require a emissions recall this year.DirtyOil wrote:

In addition RAM has released 4 more recalls last week.
Recall 1
Recall 2
Recall 3
Recall 4
Oh No!! My 2012 1500 has a recall, guess I'll drop her off for a free fix and be back on the road later in the day. (wire chaffing in steering column)
Egads! My 2013 3500 has to go in for free recall work! I'll drop the beast off after the 1500 is done. (wire chaffing in steering column
and side curtain airbag)
I'm beside myself, both trucks requiring recalls where the work/parts are free at least, unlike those 6.0 and 6.4 fiascos!
I understand a inconvenience... How nice
Interesting thing is I still see more 6.0 on the road than the 07.5-09 6.7 cummins by a long shot.- blofgrenExplorer

So far my 2013 is great! Not sure what the issues were with your 2010 but overall the 4th Gen Rams are pretty solid. - Perrysburg_DodgExplorerHay Troy you forgot these buddy!

All of them make some bad trucks, but mostly they make good trucks and it's great that we get to all get to choose what works best for each of us. I looked a little bit at all three big diesels earlier this year and the GM clones were off my list almost immediately whereas I looked pretty hard at the Super Duty and Ram. That doesn't mean the Duramax trucks are bad, but for my priorities they were a distant third behind the Powerstroke and Cummins. - DirtyOilExplorer

I work at a dealership, nobody really knows exactly what will happen! From date of announcement if your vehicle is involved you will be contacted in about 60 days. There are a LOT of rumors flying around, I've heard several, the truth is NO ONE outside of Fiat-Chrysler really knows!
I see Bluestem has received one! Ha I work in a dealership and have not seen this yet!
This is the buyback part of the notice I received. Ha Good thing I don't work in a dealership or I'd still be waiting.
I was thinking I could finally get rid of this thing but most likely I would take it to a dealer and they would low ball me on the price, fix the truck and put it on the lot. Should have kept the Superduty...
