Ram Truck Search Tool??

I'm starting to search for a new truck, but apparently what I want is not a common truck. The tool on Rams website limits you to 150 miles, but I want to search a wider area. I've been googling ZIP codes, and plugging them in, but it is a pain.

Does anyone have a site that will really let you narrow it down to the options you want, and search a wide area? I bought my last truck in 2002, so I keep them awhile, and want to make sure I get what I want.

I was doing the same. I let the dealers search. Finally order a new one yesterday with the options I wanted and a deal I was happy with. I can wait 2 months. Not moving 5th for almost 3 months anyway.

Try nationwide search on Cars.com

It will come up with dealers ads.
You can tell from the ads which dealers are discounting, then go to their website and check out their other inventory.

I would check with Kernersville Ram in NC, or Vernon Auto in TX. You will save enough to even have it shipped to your door.

It's much easier and faster to place an order. See which dealer will give you the best price and order from them. I knew it would be next to impossible to find the configuration I wanted. So I just shopped dealers, found a good price, put up a deposit, and had what I wanted 6 weeks later. No compromises.

It's Dennis Dillon, and they have what I want, and at a great price, but its about 2300 miles from the house. I don't mind traveling, but would like to stay a little closer to home. My southern blood might freeze in Idaho 🙂
It's in "southern" Idaho. 😉

Dennis Dillon I believe offers a fly drive deal. Fly in one day, sign the papers and drive home. You only have to spend one morning in Boise.

Before you buy a new HD truck from out of state, check with your states licensing agency. In our state, HD p/u trucks (not 1/2 T's) can cause you to have to pay the state sales tax in both states on such a purchase.

Dennis Dillon is other big Ram dealer in Idaho. From what I have read Dave Smith was sold out and they dont deal as well any more.
But, have you looked on Ebay?

That would be Dave Smith.
Many times you can get within $200~$500 of DS price if you take their offer to your local dealer.
