Dear Mr. Down TheAvenue
Plain and simple, I have a Progressive policy, (a separate policy on the TT alone, not a rider on the tow vehicle) that covers both collision and comprehensive, while both towed and parked. There is no exclusion for being towed by a rental vehicle, a vehicle owned by the neighbor, dog catcher, or any other towing vehicle caveats.
If you have a court case that says a TT under such a policy is not covered I'd love to read it. Otherwise I figure its just a bunch of smoke and mirrors.

My Goodness, everyone seems to have their underwear on a little too tight. To the OP, often threads drift from the original topic. It is not an insult to you, it's just that someone brings up a point and another comments on that point. I think many forums are like that. Often, the moderator brings all back into line. Mr. Wing Zealot: I never said your insurance did not cover your trailer. I was merely commenting on tow vehicle insurance extending to a towed vehicle. Policies are different, and insurance laws differ state to state. The best advice for anyone is to read their actual policy and understand what coverage they have. Obviously you have done that, and that proves that you are an intelligent and prudent insurance consumer.
