- DutchmenSportExplorerI had a 2006 Springdale and I found it easiest, and least stressful to go through a dealer that sells Keystone RV's. I purchased my Springdale from Stout's RV in Greenwood, IN. 2 months after the purchase they were officially "Camping World". Camping world was great, but the distance was an inconvenience for me. I switched my loyalty to another Keystone dealer, just 5 miles from my home. They were great in getting me everything I needed when items needed attention. AND because of the age of the camper, some items were not supplied by the manufacturer any longer. They were GREAT in hunting down exactly what I needed, when I needed it.
So my suggestion, go seek out a Keystone dealer. You may end up paying a bit more than if you order on-line and you won't have to drive distances to seek out suppliers that really don't have what you need.
If they are a good dealer, they'll be up front with you and let you know if something can be found OR not!
My advise from my experience. Good luck!
Edit:
I think one reason why dealerships in Indiana are so willing to help is because there is simply too much competition. Being in the area where so many RV's are manufactured by dozens of different manufacturers, and basically every camper is pretty much the same, it's the customer service. They want our business so we don't go elsewhere. When dealerships are as common as gas stations on the corner, the true "edge" one has over the other is their service department! - Gonzo42ExplorerI have had good results having work done at Camping World in La Mirada CA.
