Report on my first tow with the new truck

Question

Well I managed to get 500 miles on her so that I could tow my TT up for the elk hunt.  OMG what a difference this truck makes over my 15 year old 1500.  It was like it was hardly back behind me.  If it was not for cruise control it would have been hard to keep it at 50 as suggested by the owner’s manual.  Granted I am still in break in and according to Fuelly I was surprised that my gas mileage was just a tiny bit better towing at around 11.8 MPG.

Yeah, heck with the truck, got any elk pics?  My buddy shot a 350+ class bull a couple of weeks ago.

idaD, shush, you'll make the Utah guys jealous! Gee, up here in North Idaho, the Elk are not much bigger then a small squirrel.
