Retrax Tonneau replace Lexar
I have a Retrax Tonneau, it is 11 years old. It was great for a few years and then had to replace the rolling mechanism inside it, Retrax sent me the rolling mechanism and I paid $144 US.
Now I see a split across the whole unit of the Lexar at the top, I called Retrax and they said the cover can be covered under a pro-rated warranty plan. The cost of replacing the cover is $426.00 + 48.00 if shipped in the US, being a Canadian with the low Canadian dollar amounts to $664 Canadian.
I am wondering if it is worth it or maybe just buy another different Tonneau for the life of my Diesel Truck (when I trade it) which is probably three years or so and maybe if anyone on here has replaced the Tonneau Lexar cover and how it worked out for them.
Thanks for any input or suggestions......Ernie
