Rickson wheels on Dodge-Not hub piloted?

I installed my Rickson wheels on my 2006 Dodge this evening and I see that they are not hub piloted like the OE wheels are......are these the correct wheels? They probably will work just fine, but I thought I would check for sure.

Thanks!

Are you talking about dually wheels? Those might be hub centric. I don't know as I have SRW axle.

My 06 dually (OEM steel wheels) definitely has hub centric wheels with the two piece flat lug nuts. If you look carefully some clearance can be seen between the lug studs and the holes in the steel wheels. Don't know about the SRW.
  • If cone nuts are used, that FORCES the wheel to be lug centric. Otherwise, the lugs would break after time if there was lateral force or the aluminum would oval out on the rim. Just because it's a snug fit on the hub doesn't make 'em hub centric.

Last I input on it. Look it up; hub vs lug centric.
  • The OE aluminum wheels were hub centered and used conical seat nuts. I know the OE rim center fits pretty tight on the centering hub, as I have had the aluminum wheels get stuck on the hub before I started using anti-seize on them.

    Nope, SRW

  • if your lug nuts have a flat or washer that contacts the wheel, it is hub centric. If the lug nut is the acorn style with a taper that goes against the wheel it is lug centric

Dodge has lug centric wheels, not hub centric. I have a 2006 Dodge truck as well. The factory wheels are lug centric and so are my Ricksons.
  • Rickson wheels are hub centric. They should fit just like your OEM wheels did. At least mine do.

Check Rickson website, Wheels FAQ, 2nd paragraph
