I see no winner or looser. Without additional information as in fuel and maintenance cost you have reached a premature conclusion.

For reliability the horse was the clear winner in the horseless carriages’ early days.

EV's are in their infancy. By 2030, they will be outselling ICE vehicles easily. Solid state batteries will allow 1,000+ miles of driving without a recharge, and that recharge will take less than 10 minutes at 1/3 the cost of petroleum powered vehicles.

Depends on the use. Could be a landscape trailer and only driven 120 miles in the day (or much less).
How well does that Tundra recharge the mandated no gasoline landscape tools between jobs?

There are so many applications of towing that does not include a 10 hour marathon.

I didn't see his actual electric cost. My house cost is $0.12/kWh and a recent CG charged $0.17/kWh.

My personal experience is that DC fast charging costs typically 3 to 5 times the cost of charging at home...which is kinda why nobody charges at fast chargers unless they are on a road trip.

I seriously doubt that.

The big difference, plain and simple, is that I can actually go out and BUY a Tundra. That being said, IMO, no contest who the winner is.

Probably a $10,000-15,000 upcharge for the Rivan plus $20-30 for a fast charger if you are actually trying to cover miles like a typical RV user.

Assuming around 12 gallons used, around $35-40 for the gas truck.

Keep in mind that's 2000lb teardrop trailer...just about the best case scenario for RV towing. Move up to a 3000lb standard height trailer and expect the EV to run out of juice before the test is complete.
