Rockwood water filter location and tv mounting bracket

We just purchased a new Rockwood 8315 bss travel trailer that is supposed to have a water purification system. It even came with a spare filter and wrench. But I can't seem to locate the filter. I've looked in all the outside compartments, in all of the cabinets...can't find it. I asked the salesman, and he wasn't sure either. Any ideas? Also does anyone know how to get the tv off off the mounting bracket? I need to connect a coax from the tv to the antenna jack, but can't access the connection on the back off the tv.

Another filter tip, when you winterize the unit the filter canister fills with the pink fluid so be sure to remove the filter cartridge and reinstall the empty canister. I've heard of people placing ping pong balls into the cansister to reduce the amount of pink stuff needed when winterized, I've never done that, its probably less then a half gallon of fluid.

Look in the cabinet under the sink not next to it. As mentioned you will need to remove the screws on the left side of the door. Then take the filter out and relocate it outside the trailer and hook it up to the water inlet before it goes into the coach. There have been some reports of these filters coming lose and flooding under the sink there is a lot of jarring going down the road.

UPDATE: Got the tv figured out. As far as the water filter goes, I checked the bottom of the cabinet next to the bathroom sink. I assume you are talking about the bottom of the cabinet next to the shower that has a hinge but doesn't open. That makes sense since that would be inside the wall from the city water connection. I'll check there next Thanks!

Yes the hinge that does not open. It's lined up where your city water inlet comes into the coach.

Our Rockwood you just need to pick up the T.V. to get it off the wall. If the antenna isn't hooked to the TV the dealer didn't do a very good job of prepping it.

Same model as our Flagstaff 831FKBSS
It's located in a compartment in the bathroom on the same side your city water connection is located. Bottom of a linen closet, you'll need a screwdriver to loosen to screws on the side with only one hinge. The filter is in that compartment with your water pump and your winterization inlet into the pump. Be sure to place a towel in that compartment before you remove the filter canister. Dump water right into sink or toilet. Wash out canister and replace filter. Be sure the gasket on the canister is in place before you reinstall and do not over tighten the canister. Oh make sure water is off before you start any of this. Good luck

If you have a separate drinking water tap follow the hose to it back until you find the filter. My filter ( not Rockwood) is behind a set of drawers. Hard to get to
