RV Cover for our Hybrid?

I'm on my 2nd cover, the first being the better of the Adco ones, lasted 6 seasons going on and off twice a year. 2nd one is the cheaper Adco, it is not worth the price but still holding together after 2 winters, with some holes. You do have to secure them from the wind. I can also see how they could be a hassle on bigger trailers.

well, i've had my ADCO RV cover for 6 years now and never had a tear or problems with it.
of course, i took precautions that many recommend, like tennis balls on the spouts and swim noodles on sharp edges.

I had the same exact experience within a week of buying ours. It has been put on once in the last nine months for a few weeks and has never been back on. If you camp all year, it is indeed a waste. If you camp a few time over the summer, then maybe it might make sense. Even then, it will be guaranteed to rip. Personally I'd rather pay more for indoor storage.

$400 for the Adco seems high. Have you talked to CW?? Tell them the year, make and model and where you live. They'll tell you the right cover for you. Seems like we paid $250 or so for ours, granted that was in '07, but can't think they've gone up that much. Might also check with RVW.

If you're thinking of using the cover on and off for each trip, it's a PITA. If you know you're not going to use the trailer for several weeks, that's another story. Yes, you'll need a ladder and something with a long handle...broom will likely work. Takes about 1/2 hour give or take. Your trailer is going to take a beating sitting in the FL sun and heat, especially the caulking and decals. We store our trailer undercover 24/7, still used the Adco in the winter and it looked like brand new when we sold it this past spring. The only area that wasn't protected from the sun was the rear bunkend and you could really see the difference. We had just ordered a new decal for the rear bunkend because it was getting really crappy looking - cracking, starting to peel, dry. New owner got both new tires and a new rear bunkend decal.

I also own an ADCO. I bought the deluxe model and it is better than the other one of theirs that I had, and I got 6 seasons out of it. I live up north and I cover mine in the winter and in the summer when not in use and the graphics and the rest of the outside look like the day we bought it. I used a ladder and got on the roof and just dropped it over the sides then pulled it straight. I don't think it ever took more than 20 minutes from start to finish. After the first time doing it.

i have an ADCO cover for my Roo 23SS, that i got off of Ebay.
it was nearly brand new and cost about $100.
you can get them on sale at CW.

the decals will suffer the most in the Florida sun, without a cover.

Thanks for the advice. What brand did you purchase? Do you need a ladder to put it on?

I purchased an RV cover for my Roo 19 specifically because I expect I'll resell in a couple of years. UV has no mercy on fiberglass, plastic fittings, and caulking. I paid the extra money for a good quality cover. NO TARPS. That'll just breed nasties. I've had the cover for about 9 months now, so far, so good.
