Sad Happijac Problem

One of my 4 happijzac jacks on my 2014 Adventurer is not functioning. It appears that there are fuses for the jacks. Does anyone know definitively if there is a fuse for each INDIVIDUAL jack or just one fuse for each side. I saw one post on a different forum that showed only two fuses, which if correct would mean the problem is going to be somewhat more costly that a fuse.

Thanks,

After I had a motor seize up i've been covering mine with triple gang electrical box vapour barriers and I leave them on year round. It probably doesn't look the best but I haven't had a problem since. They are cheap and usually last about a year.

You can blow the white covers off with compressed air which allows you access to get oil into the lower bearing. Thats the one that sits in moisture. The lower end cap to motor housing TRAPS moisture on the bearinG.

Once you blow the white covers off you'll see a small orifice 9very bottom sides) in which to spray 3 in one oil in there. Spray till you see it dripping out the housing. It won't hurt anything. Do this ea fall and keep them covered when not traveling. Only replaced 1 motor in 14 years since doing this.

I cover with freezer bags and stuff foam packaging blocks to keep the wind from blowing them off during storage.

For a company that makes a product intended to be used outdoors, HJ does a terrible job of protecting against the weather. Since I bought my camper I've sent 5 motor heads back for rebuild (a couple more than once) and I recently noticed this on one of the motors that hasn't needed repair, yet.

Note the high quality UV resistant sheath on the wiring. (sarcasm)

Fortunately the camper's under roof now so hopefully my seized motor days are over.

All of the above. And if it is like mine was, the motor is seized and will blow the next fuse right away...

There is a fuse for each jack in the control module. Pop the cover off and it is usually pretty obvious which fuse is blown.
I always carry several spares.
Take the hand crank and move the offending jack to make sure it is moving freely before replacing the fuse.

Looking at this picture of the main logic board, there is wiring for each jack. What is under the cover is uncertain.

picture of logic board

However, if I was trying to trouble shoot it, and had one leg that did not work, I might be inclined to take the wiring off of the board for all four jacks, and then use a set of jumper wires to connect to a different logic board output. If the jack works, it's something on the board.

If it doesn't work, try connecting the wiring from a working jack to the place on the logic board where it was not working. If that jack still works in the "bad spot" on the board, the problem might be in the jack itself.

One fuse for each jack located in the control box.
